Marina is one of the most prominent living women artists' in the UK, who paints Seascapes, Landscapes & Abstracts. She has won many awards,is frequently exhibiting and has been commissioned to produce set pieces for clients.
Marina gained her Diploma with a high Distinction from the London Collage of Art and subsequently received other awards during her career.
Her work has been exhibited in Saatchi -London and in over 20 other locations around the United Kingdom. She has also exhibited along with Ronnie Wood, Banksy & Jack Vettriano in a Glasgow art exhibition .
Marina grew up in Leominster Herefordshire, Marina's passion for art started at school and was encouraged by her art tutor, and her passion for art has continued to grow throughout her life.
At one stage Marina lived close to the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast in South West Wales, this is where she started to create her magnificent seascapes and landscapes paintings. She was known as one of the first artists in the area to paint on deep edged box canvases, she found that this gave her paintings a three-dimensional effect which enhanced the effect that she was looking to achieve.
After 10 years Marina moved back to her home town and has since been a prominent artist supporting the local art festival and has been the " artist in residence" for 3 years in concession .
At one stage Marina lived in the North East of England and continued developing her art and repertoire, and Marina also taught art and held art workshops for local art groups and also along with weekly art classes.
She also developed a wide range of styles from seascapes,landscapes,to abstract forms on canvas and many other mediums such as ceramics .
Marina has received commissions from such organisations as the Royal legion,and many private clients. She has also donated art to special fundraising causes that she supports.
Her dream is to set up a Art Gallery with a difference and encourage others to develop their own unique art skills in her area in Herefordshire .
